Lawn—1, Tiffany & David—1 !!!

Oh yes, we're catching up with our lawn. There was a BIG development tonight. When David was mowing our back lawn, he caught some movement out of the corner of his eye. It was a MOLE! (If you're a card-carrying member of PETA, stop reading here and promise not to egg my house.)

So what's a frustrated home owner to do with a lawn rodent that has caused mass destruction to about a 1/4 acre of our property? SMOOSH IT! SMOOSH IT!!!

And he did. He stomped the life out of that mole. I wanted to feel bad, but I didn't. All I could think was, "That's one down. Wonder how many more of them are out there?"

You know what else was surprising? That mole was tiny. Honestly, it was only three inches long at best. It looked more like a large mouse. When you look at the level of destruction on our lawn, you would expect something bigger or more predatory. Nope. This tiny three-inch creature is remarkable. And now he's remarkably dead. Rest in peace little rodent. Enjoy digging cloud tunnels in tiny mole heaven.

Here on earth, score (shamefully) one for the big guys.

OMG, you crack me up. My Dave probably would ahve smoosed it to. It is a little sad but maybe hos mole friends will get scred and leave your yard now. :)

LOL! Robbie would of done the samething. Except he might of used the lawnmower instead of stomping it to death. yuk! It is kinda sad...I couldn't have done it but someone had to. Like Jess said maybe they will leave now???
