Both the men in my house have a fascination with tools. It doesn't matter the brand—we have them all. Hello Black & Decker, DeWalt, Hitachi and Dremel. We're glad you're here.
I feel pretty good that when David buys a tool, it's not just for collection purposes. He not only uses those tools, he uses them well. I can't even begin to count the number of projects David has completed during our 3-year tenure with our current home, but the deck, the pool room, the bathroom all come to mind.
This week, it was the lawn mower that needed some attention. The belt had finally snapped (frayed for months now), and David worked diligently to replace it.
Not to be left out, Noah wanted in on the action. So David hooked him up with a wrench—or five—and let him "fix" the mower on his own terms.
Here's Noah using his favorite tool, the "measure tape" as he calls it.
I have to give it to my men, they fixed the mower and mowed the lawn together (and not a moment too soon given the height of our grass!).

Does he have little play tools of his own? Does Auntie Jen need to look in my toy collection here??
We have serious play tools here, including a complete black & decker work bench.
