A good call

Just an update on Cody & Tessa. David got a call from the new owner last night while we were at interview for Noah's potential babysitter (more on that later).

The owner left a quick message that Cody & Tessa are doing well, and that he's already taken them pheasant hunting. They did very well, he said, and that he's pleased with the way things are working out.

David relayed this news to me in sad and happy tones... on one hand, he was somewhat hoping the call was to say Tessa and Cody were coming home... on the other hand, he was glad that things are working out well for them at their new home.

All in all, I'm breathing a little sigh of relief that things seem to be unfolding the right way.
