Seriously?

Was it really necessary to snow 20+ inches in two days? On this day, when we SPRING forward, I cannot imagine a more wintry way to celebrate.

Conditions in Mount Vernon are delightful—level 3 snow emergency, a random snow plow, lots of wind, and drifts in excess of three feet. Hot dog!

David, Noah and I cozied in today and watched the snow fall, bluster and swirl outside our living room window. I kept waiting for the snow to stop or at least slow, but it never did. Huh.

Tomorrow our plans are shaing up to make one exciting day... in lieu of a plow, a paid arrangement for snow removal, or even a lost hope for snow-melting rain, we will be shoveling our rather long driveway every time our son drifts off to dreamland. I can feel the calories burning already!
