A little boy in Mount Vernon ushered those solemn words as he looked up in awe—yes, truly in awe—of Noah on Trick-or-Treat night. He was just a little guy—barely two, I’d say—and the way he followed Noah each time we crossed paths was darn adorable. Hero worship at its best!
Noah was in his costume and Toy Story glory. His getup was cheap and most definitely did not include the deluxe wings and attachable arm laser (Santa, are you listening?!), but our dude felt VERY space-hero-ish.
We mixed and matched fall and Halloween events with style. We went trick-or-treating not once, not twice, but three times: once at the local Children’s Garden, once in Johnstown at David’s colleague’s house, and once (for the first time) here in Mount Vernon. Even after all that begging, our candy haul was kept to a respectable volume, especially after David and I siphoned off the chocolate bars we had to test for quality control and suspicious packaging.

...and at this über Halloweenish house.
Noah and I put on our crafty hats and channeled our inner gingerbread to make this spooky Halloween house.

All done!
This side was all Noah's creation. Looks kinda like a zombie bumblebee, no?
We met my brother, Tim, my sister-in-law, Anita, and my nephews to get pumpkins in Sunbury one weekend.
Tim takes a turn on the corn cob gun. Doesn't he look like he belongs on top of a tank?
David's turn. I don't believe either of him hit their target.

Noah's found the perfect pumpkin!
Somebody said something funny.
Matthew & Noah take on the hay bale maze.
They're on top of the world!
