Why did the crawdad cross the road?

Apparently, it crossed the road so that we could scoop it up, put it in a bucket and bump its claws with sticks to see what would happen.

But honestly, how many times have you seen a giant crayfish in the middle of a country road? For me, it was a first.

Noah calls it our "lobster" and deemed it "pretty scary."

David's decided to make it the latest family pet, an experiment I give about a month (although other sources say they'll last two years in a tank!).
